WSU Dining Services supports sustainability and social responsibility by:
- Purchasing lentils, garbanzos and locally milled flour from local, eco-friendly farmers
- Embedding these local ingredients in our signature recipes: Palouse chocolate lentil cake, lemon garbanzo bean cake, hummus, and Palouse lentil chili
- Providing Fair Trade Coffee at all locations
- Using trans-fat free oils in cooking
- Participating in the campus recycling and composting program
- Educating guests on the benefits of sustainability
WSU Dining supports waste minimization by providing bio-degradable food service. Please take the time to separate recyclable materials from waste and choose to use the compost containers for your bio-degradable items.
